Support of the Iranian Studies will provide core funding to strengthen programs, enhance interaction among faculty and students in the school, and facilitate collaboration with other university programs.

Funds will be focused on

• activities that affect the broadest range of faculty and students
• activities that encourage collaboration with other organizations on and off campus

Such activities include seminars, symposia and festivals; curriculum development; language training; research initiatives on key topics;  visiting scholars; research networks linking internal and external faculty and students; and support for the students who represent the next generation of scholars and artists.
